At Oasis Christian Academy, we believe that a strong school is built through the partnership of students, families, faculty, staff, and the greater Christian community. While we are committed to academic excellence and a Christ-centered education, we also recognize and value the important role our families play in making OCA a special place to learn, grow, and serve.

One of the primary ways parents and family members can become involved is through PAWS — Partners Always Willing to Serve. PAWS gives members of the OCA community opportunities 

to use their time, talents, ideas, and resources to support our students, teachers, and school.
PAWS works alongside OCA leadership to identify opportunities to strengthen our school community. This may include supporting school events and activities, assisting with special projects, helping recognize and encourage faculty and staff, welcoming and connecting OCA families, organizing opportunities for fellowship, and finding practical ways to serve throughout the academy.

PAWS is not simply about volunteering for an event—it is about building relationships and strengthening community throughout Oasis Christian Academy. Whether someone has plenty of time to give or can only help occasionally, there is a place for parents, grandparents, and other OCA family members to get involved.

Additional volunteer opportunities are available throughout the school year through classroom activities, field trips, special events, athletics, and other school programs. These opportunities vary throughout the year, allowing families to participate in ways that fit their schedules, interests, and abilities.

Our families also represent many local churches throughout the greater community. We are grateful for these connections and for the opportunity to partner with families from across the body of Christ. Together, our school, families, and churches help reinforce the biblical foundation and Christian community we desire for every OCA student.

At Oasis Christian Academy, parent partnership is more than participation—it is an important part of our culture. Through PAWS and other opportunities to serve, we invite our families to help us continue building a school community where students and families feel connected, supported, and valued.
