PRE-KINDERGARTEN (3-YEAR-OLDS)
Overview
Our K3 program provides a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where three-year-old students can learn, explore, play, and grow. Through meaningful relationships and developmentally appropriate experiences, we support each child's spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development while building a strong foundation for future learning.
Learning at this age should be active and engaging. Through hands-on activities, purposeful play, teacher-guided instruction, and interaction with classmates, students begin developing important early academic and developmental skills.
K3 students are introduced to foundational concepts through the Bible, early literacy and phonics, mathematics, science, art, music, movement, and play. Throughout the day, teachers also help children develop communication skills, independence, cooperation, fine and gross motor skills, and age-appropriate classroom routines.
Most importantly, our students learn in an environment where they are loved, encouraged, and continually reminded that God created them uniquely and has a purpose for their lives.
OCA offers families the flexibility of choosing either a half-day or full-day K3 program.
