About

About

For nearly five decades, Oasis Christian Academy has served the greater Winter Haven area as a private school, providing an educational experience that is authentically Christ-centered and relevant.

OCA was founded as Haven Christian Academy in 1977. The Academy has undergone many changes in its forty-seven-year history. What has not changed in those forty-plus years is our unwavering philosophy that this academy be a Biblically based, rigorous institution that believes in the value of parent-partnership.

Simply put, we are who we say we are, and we deliver on our promise to provide a high-quality, distinctively Christian education relevant to 21st-century learners. We prepare students to leave us ready to impact the world for Christ.

We proudly earned our accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in 2012, 2017, and 2023.

We know parents have many choices for their students' education.  We all want to make choices that are best for our children, and Oasis Christian Academy wants that as well.  For more information, please call us at 863-293-0930 or email us at info@ocalions.org, and we will be happy to walk you through all that OCA has to offer. We hope you enjoy perusing our site and learning all about who we are, what we do, and why we do it!  If you have any questions or would like more information, please get in touch with us at info@ocalions.org.  GO LIONS!

~ Scott Phillips, Head of School
